Job Description
The Low Voltage Installation Technician is responsible for following detailed electrical schematics and diagrams to complete installation, repair, removal, and inspection of components, primarily within the equipment chassis of applicable systems. The position requires a high level of professionalism and flexibility to meet project schedules and customer needs.
Requirements
- Strong organization, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to use all needed hand tools for routing, securing, and terminating wire and wiring harnesses
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams
- Ability to solder and de-solder 18-22 AWG wire with quality results
- Ability to use a multimeter and other devices for testing purposes
- Ability to read instructions, write reports, complete forms
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
