Commercial Manager

At Skanska, we are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Building Team in central London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating at Commercial Manager level on major construction projects between £100 and £300 million.

Requirements

• Ensure project scope, contractual notices, terms and conditions are clearly understood and effectively managed throughout delivery.
• Administer the head contract robustly to secure Skanska’s full contractual entitlement and minimise commercial risk.
• Integrate cost plans and base data into commercial forecasting and reporting to support accurate financial control.
• Lead the commercial strategy for contracted works, including procurement approach, package scope, quantification, tendering, negotiation and subcontract documentation.
• Work collaboratively with designers, the supply chain and key stakeholders during design development to identify cost impacts and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead change management in line with the project strategy, covering client changes, design development, scope variations, instructions and programme changes.
