Media Services Technician

The Media Services Technician plays a diverse and intricate role in Media Services, facilitating the use of technology in the educational process at Skidmore. The role requires a high degree of competence in AV technology to perform classroom troubleshooting and provide technical support for students, faculty, and staff.

Requirements

• An Associate's Degree in IT or a related field from a regionally accredited institution is preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience with technology required.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in Media Services required.
• Knowledge of, competency in and familiarity with Extron or similar AV control systems is desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
