Job Description
The Department of Anthropology at Skidmore College invites applications for a two-year, full-time non-tenure track visiting assistant professor position in cultural anthropology (open-area) for AY26-28.
Requirements
- PhD in Anthropology required at time of appointment
- demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching
- strong commitment to undergraduate education at a liberal arts college
- teach 5 courses per year (18 credits)
- teach Introduction to Cultural Anthropology (both semesters)
- teach a mid-level geographic or topical course
- teach two upper-level seminars
