Softline Operator II

Softline Operator II job description: Performs light assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual and some automated operations. Responsible for following drawings and detailed work instructions to assemble high-quality aerospace components. Provides a mentoring role for others in the assembly and Softline functions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED is required, Trade School Certificate is preferred.
• 3+ years of previous Aerospace or Commercial Manufacturing is required.
• Fundamental understanding of shop routers, Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts, and product acceptance criteria through operator verification is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and other visual specification layouts.
