Wind Composite Blade Repair Technician 3 Canada: travel position supporting complex blade inspection, repair, and maintenance scopes across utility-scale wind projects, leading by example on safety, and interfacing directly with customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus post-secondary education in composite applications, OR a minimum of three (3) years of wind industry experience focused on composite inspection and repair
- Demonstrated supervisory-level working knowledge of industrial safety practices, including confined space and energy isolation, specific to composite operations
- Proven ability to complete detailed blade inspections and clearly report findings
- Proficiency with intermediate and advanced composite repair techniques
- Experience with lighting systems and intermediate to advanced blade repairs
- Strong attention to detail, execution excellence, and professional customer interaction skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across crews and organizational levels
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with web-based systems and documentation tools
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
