Skyline Construction, a leader in commercial interior construction and 100% employee-owned, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. The role offers hands-on experience in tenant improvement projects, opportunities to build industry relationships, and a chance to learn every aspect of project management. This position will utilize tools such as Procore and Bluebeam and involves both office and field work, with potential for managing low-risk projects as expertise grows.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college with major coursework in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of construction experience preferred.
- Knowledge of construction principles, techniques and procedures.
- Ability to effectively present information in oral, written and graphic form.
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to read architectural / engineering plans and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of project estimating & scheduling.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to adapt behavior to meet the needs of the project to ensure project success.
