CNC Sheet Metal Fabricator

Join the Skyline Products Team as a Precision CNC Sheet Metal Fabricator! This role involves interpreting blueprints, setting up equipment, and fabricating high-tolerance metal parts using tools such as CNC press brakes, CNC punch presses, and CNC laser cutters.

Requirements

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Operate fabrication machinery including CNC press brakes, CNC laser cutters, shears, Hardware insertion equipment, and CNC punch presses.
• Perform layout, cutting, bending, forming, and assembly of sheet metal parts to exact tolerances.
• Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality control to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues.
• Perform basic maintenance on machines and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools to include pneumatic riveters, belt sanders, drills and taps.
• Qualifications: Technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in precision sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work orders.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal materials, gauges, and manufacturing methods.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with machine file software and CNC equipment is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60lbs and stand for extended periods.
