Requirements
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in soldering, including both through-hole and surface-mount techniques, while adhering to industry-standard workmanship requirements (J-STD-001 & IPC-A-610)
- Ensure compliance with industry certifications, including J-STD-001 & IPC-A-610, or other relevant certifications, and maintain familiarity with their standards and guidelines
- Carry out PCBA rework, component replacement, and troubleshooting on circuit boards, identifying and correcting solder defects, damaged traces, and other issues in accordance with established rework procedures
- Perform assembly, tear-downs, inspections, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical components as well as other LRUs
- Read and understand manufacturing blueprints, wire diagrams, planning documents, test specifications, and other applicable documents
- Utilize hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, multimeters, and more to assist with testing and assembly of PMA parts
- Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures
- Assist with other functions of the manufacturing of aircraft parts as needed
