The successful candidate for this position will perform the Cybersecurity Automation Engineer role within the Cybersecurity’s business technology organization to design, develop, and integrate solutions for Cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Architecting, engineering, implementing, and maintaining automation tools to reduce time and complexity of operations and development tasks
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining security specific automation and tooling such as: data analysis, logging pipelines, detection engineering, automated response actions, monitoring, and security infrastructure management
- Coordinating and participating in emergency responses, performing root cause analysis, identifying and implementing solutions to prevent re-occurrences
- Building relationship with infrastructure and development groups to incorporate security principles into engineering design and deployments
- Developing and implementing orchestration solution with the intent to streamline monitoring, alerting, and incident management efforts for cloud and other platforms
- Serving as a primary and secondary on 1-3 solutions within the security portfolio, which includes: managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and providing guidelines to team members as needed
- Serving as security expert in platform and application development, database and micro-service design. Providing guidance to project teams on the appropriate selection and implementation of security controls to comply with enterprise compliance and security policies.
