Slingshot Aerospace is hiring a Platform Software Engineer to build a multi-partner integration platform for space operations. The role involves owning key architectural domains, building production services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in software development, with emphasis on enterprise integration/API platforms, and 2+ years of owning substantial architectural scope.

Requirements

• 5+ years in software development with emphasis on enterprise integration/API platforms
• 2+ years owning substantial architectural scope
• REST, GraphQL, webhooks; Kafka/CloudEvents/queues; contract testing
• Cloud (AWS): API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, and related PaaS/IaaS
• IaC & DevOps: Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK; CI/CD (GitHub Actions); GitOps
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, EKS
• Languages/Stack: Java/Kotlin, Python, GraphQL, REST
• Data: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Security: API keys, rate limiting, secrets management
• AI/ML Integration: Proven delivery of AI/ML/LLM features into production APIs
