Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)

The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) performs direct resident care duties under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse, assisting in maintaining a positive environment for residents. Essential duties include assisting with ADLs, transferring residents, and documenting care. The CNA must hold current state certification and comply with local health regulations.

Requirements

• Must hold current state certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in good standing with the state.
• Must be able to interact positively with residents, families, and regulatory agencies, and work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
• Must be able to maintain consistent attendance and be willing to work long or irregular hours, often under pressure.
