Logistics Clerk

Receives, inspects, inventory, documents and stores shipments. Oversees data system for storage and tracking of goods and shipments. Prepares, packages, documents and delivers outgoing materials.

Requirements

• Handles incoming and outgoing shipments
• Completes outbound deliveries using pre-designated software
• Pulls, packs and ships finished goods
• Accurately verifies and processes customers' orders by matching quantities and types
• Handles shipment receiving duties by ensuring the right item has been received and not damaged
• Reports and replaces defective items prior to shipping
• Ensures that all transactions are recorded in company database
• Ensures that items are labeled and packed properly
• Confirms items are loaded onto shipment vehicles in a safe and timely manner
• Operates forklift to transport shipments within the facility
• Handles space arrangements for incoming shipments in the storage area
• Ensure the warehouse is cleaned and maintained at all times
• Coordinates monthly, year-end and general inventory procedures and Cycle Counts
• Checks packaging weekly and communicates with the Production Manager
• Schedules shipping in ERP System
• Loads and Unloads Heat treat
• Accurately weighs and packs parts as indicated by instructions
• Helps Operators move parts and process reels
