This position is responsible for managing the Smart Care financial accounting processes and is a key partner to the Corporate Controller. The responsibilities include reporting financial results in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and Smart Care’s policies.
Requirements
- CPA or equivalent required
- 10(+) years of progressive accounting/financial experience, minimum of 2 years in controller position preferred
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including the use of excel and pivot tables
- Job costing and service industry experience preferred
- Private equity and consolidation experience preferred
- Ability to partner with operational and sales leaders to provide data that will drive results
- Proven ability to successfully manage complex accounting and reporting systems
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and identify/implement ideas for improvement
- Ability to solve and articulate complex solutions with minimal input and direction
- Ability to amicably resolve issues and questions with internal/external customers
