Business Analyst (Based in Danang or Hanoi)

SmartDev is an AI-powered software development company seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst to join its delivery team. The role involves gathering and documenting business and functional requirements, facilitating 3 Amigos sessions, and acting as a liaison between the client and the delivery team. Requirements

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements through structured workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions
• Write User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria in Given/When/Then format
• Facilitate 3 Amigos sessions before each sprint to surface ambiguity early and reduce mid-sprint clarification cycles
• Ensure all stories meet the Definition of Ready before sprint planning
• Maintain requirement traceability from business need through to acceptance test
• Serve as the primary liaison between the client and the internal delivery team
• Lead scope conversations directly: assess new requests against MVP boundaries, challenge additions with documented rationale, and propose phased or simplified alternatives where appropriate
• Review deliverables against acceptance criteria during QA and UAT; raise and track defects with supporting evidence and clear priority classification
• Identify compliance implications (e.g. CASS, AML, data privacy) when documenting requirements; flag regulatory uncertainties early for specialist review
