Tech Lead (Computer Vision)

SmartDev is an AI-powered software development company looking for a Tech Lead (Computer Vision) with experience in Computer Vision, Python, and C++ to drive technical vision, architecture, and delivery of solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on engineering experience building and shipping production systems
• Track record of taking systems from prototype to production
• Solid experience with Computer Vision (e.g., detection, segmentation, OCR, tracking, video analytics) - or strong ML/deep learning experience with a clear path into CV
• Proficiency in Python & C++
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV
• Working knowledge of deep learning fundamentals (CNNs, Transformers)
• Problem-solving and innovation mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Strong strategic thinking with a business-impact mindset
• Ability to influence technical direction across teams
• Leadership and mentorship capability -- or clear potential to grow into it
