Global Financial Institutions Group Internship

Join Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Group as a Global Financial Institutions Group Intern in Paris for a 6-month period. Gain knowledge of Corporate and Investment banking products and work with a global team.

Requirements

• Second part of gap year (“année de césure”) or end-of-studies student at Masters Level
• Strong motivation and ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
• Good organisational skills, rigour and reliability, autonomy and initiative, summarising and analytical skills, open-mindedness
• Strong motivation and ability to work in a team and under tight deadlines
• Interest in structured finance and in the banking and financial sector
• Prior internship experience, ideally in the banking industry or in the financial sector
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
• Ability to take initiative and work with autonomy
• Good knowledge of financial analysis
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PPT, Word)
• Analytical skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Curious and self-motivated
• Team oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to interact with other teams and colleagues
