Vice President / Director, Underwriting Risk Management

This role is for a Vice President/Director of Underwriting Risk Management based in Singapore. The individual will be responsible for reviewing and challenging underwriting requests, overseeing credit origination, risk assessment, and maintaining compliance. They'll contribute to strategic decision-making in the APAC region, managing portfolios, and assisting with new product development.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent with experience in Financial Institution credit risk
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in banking
• Strong credit risk and market risk analysis, strong working knowledge in underwritting in banking
• Good communication, interpersonal skills and fluent in written and spoken English
• Team player and strong sense of ownership of outcomes
• Meticulous, with an eye for details
• Able to work under tight timelines and comfortable with cross-border interactions
