Job Description
The Automation Account Manager is responsible for representing SMC in business activities, creating new business, and growing sales through proactive management of medium to large size OEM accounts.
Requirements
- Retain and profitably grow sales through proactive management of medium to large size OEM accounts
- Meet or exceed annual growth expectations
- Present SMC's capabilities, services, and products to current and prospective target customers
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers and be responsible for customer growth
- Represent the voice of the customer's needs and goals within the organization
- Lead all aspects of the sales process
- Develop and execute detailed customer action plan and forecast
- Maintain/creates very strong and deep-rooted relationships with key decision makers within designated strategic target accounts
- Effectively utilize SMC tools and resources
- Complete market reports
- Manage SMC assets appropriately
- Use and accurately maintain CRM
- Collaborate with internal teams
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables
- Successfully complete other duties as prescribed by the Branch Manager/Sales Manager
