Job Description
Teacher Assistants work closely with faculty members, program director and students, assisting in creating a positive and productive learning environment. They provide academic and administrative support, fostering student engagement and contributing to the success of all educational processes.
Requirements
- Related certification (e.g., RVT, RDCS, RDMS, CCI, ARRT, MRI/ARRT/ARMRIT) and/or SPI
- Four years of practical work experience in the field
- Associate's and/or bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)
- Strong technical skills, including all computer applications, internet research, database management, and analytical skills
- Experience with Canvas or related LMS usage for instruction (assignments, quizzes, discussion boards, gradebook, modules)
- Ability to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to independently move objects up to 25 lbs
- Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, other office machinery, and perform repetitive motions
- Sufficient hearing and speaking ability to communicate in person or on the phone/computer with others
