Job Description
SEK is seeking a Bookkeeping / Payroll Specialist to join a fast-paced professional environment. The role involves providing full-service accounting support, including bookkeeping, general ledger preparation, payroll processing, tax reporting, and financial statement preparation. This position reports to various CRM's and the Support Accountant Supervisor.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with clients
- Accounting experience preferably in a public accounting environment
- Experience reconciling bank accounts and maintaining a general ledger
- Experience preparing payroll, payroll taxes, quarterly returns and W-2s
- Proficiency with Excel
- Detail orientation and strong organizational skills
- High level of professionalism
