DSD Relief Route Sales

The Relief Route Sales Representative is responsible for selling and merchandising a line of quality products at local stores. They will drive a Smithfield Foods box truck and work Monday through Friday, 50 to 55 hours a week. They must be flexible, customer-focused, and tech-savvy.

Requirements

• Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales invoices for orders obtained
• Delivers products to customer, stocks retail cases and rotates inventory as required
• Prepares end of day reports of business transactions and informs local management on any unresolved issues or opportunities
• Maintains daily Department of Transportation and provides to local management as required
• Maintains daily truck inventory and does weekly physical inventory and reports any variations to local management
• Driving to assigned locations
• Using equipment (e.g. carts, pallets, etc.) to unload products and move throughout the store
• Rotating products and removing defective and out-of-date products and process returns and credits with receiver
