Equipment Operator-Oven - 2nd Shift

Equipment Operator-Oven at Smithfield Foods, responsible for delivering safe and high-quality food by performing production tasks and supporting coworkers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to perform a task requiring continuous/repetitive movement
• Must be able to stand on concrete and/or platforms for up to a 12-hour shift
• Must be able to work around animal blood and/or carcass parts
• Must be able to work in cold areas and/or warm areas
• Must be able to work in a noisy environment using personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Must be able to climb/move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways and platforms
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and twist repetitively over the course of an entire shift
