Job Description
Smithfield Foods is seeking a Food Safety & QA Supervisor to oversee FSQA programs, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement in food safety, quality, and sanitation. The role involves investigating and resolving product/process failures, collaborating with plant management and production teams, and communicating key updates to the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- 2+ years’ relevant experience in food safety or quality assurance
- Experience acting as a lead by providing training, coaching or mentoring to less experienced staff or through managing a process or project
- Familiarity with meat processing, USDA, HACCP, SSOP, and SQF
