The On-The-Job Trainer is responsible for the training and skill development of hourly new hire employees, including knife techniques and other job specific knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2+ years experience in manufacturing operations, required
- In lieu of a High School Diploma or GED, candidate must have 6 years of Smithfield manufacturing industry experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in more than one language preferred
- Able to work with co-workers proactively and in a team environment
- Shows problem solving abilities
- Preferred knowledge of Excel or other computer programs.
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
