Job Description
Packaging Engineer at Smithfield Foods, responsible for ensuring food safety, adding value for customers, and keeping costs in check. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to lead projects and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- 2+ years' relevant experience in Research and Development or Packaging Development
- Broad knowledge of packaging materials, equipment and manufacturing processes
- Experience in the food industry, preferred
- General knowledge of food science, processing and manufacturing, preferred
