Job Description
Join Smithfield Foods as a Packaging Machine Operator - 2nd Shift and play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality food. You'll work with meat cutting/packaging machines and other equipment to process meat products for the consumer, and contribute to a positive work environment and a safe and efficient production line.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a production environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a cold environment (20-40 degrees)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs
