Job Description
Production Manager Trainee at Smithfield Foods responsible for learning and becoming certified in company systems and pork industry standards. Performs duties under supervision and masters all hourly jobs. Develops reports and addresses opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
- Certification in two or more departments
- Ability to work 48-hour week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to lead others
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft software
- Ability to work well with others in fast-paced environment
- Ability to tolerate animal husbandry procedures
- Ability to operate high-pressure washing system
