Job Description
Smithfield Foods is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to achieve assigned regional sales goals and growth through effective sales planning and execution. The role involves managing Smithfield's Broker relationships, training and monitoring sales activities, and developing sales proposals and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 5+ years’ relevant experience
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management
- Must understand the dynamics of the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
- Must have a solid understanding of customer focused and fact based selling, including IRI, Neilsen and Perishable Group data
- Must have a valid driver’s license
