Sales Account Manager

Join Smithfield Foods as a Sales Account Manager and help foster relationships with customers to achieve business results and drive sales for long-term growth. As a key player in our sales team, you will work with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver service and products to our customers and consumers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
• Knowledge of the dynamics of the food business industry or retail channels.
• Experience of customer-focused and fact-based selling, including IRI, Nielsen and Perishable Group data.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• High level of written and verbal communication skills, organizational planning, and adaptability.
• Respectful, approachable and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
• Ability to work well in fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
