Join Snapp and shape the future of ride-hailing and urban mobility as a Database Administrator, working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, ProxySQL, and Pgpool to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of database systems.
Requirements
- Administer, monitor, and maintain production and non-production MySQL and PostgreSQL database environments.
- Design and implement high-availability, replication, and clustering strategies (using ProxySQL, Pgpool, etc.).
- Automate database deployment, schema migrations, and operational tasks through CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning to ensure efficient database operations.
- Implement and maintain database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Enforce database security, access control, encryption, and auditing.
- Participate in patching, upgrades, and version management of database engines.
