Architectural Historian

We are seeking an Architectural Historian to join our Cultural Resources Team. The position is based out of Tampa, FL and is an entry-level position. The successful candidate will conduct historic resource field surveys, background research, and evaluate historic resources for eligibility in the National Register of Historic Places. The position requires excellent written, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as a basic level of experience with ArcGIS. The expected compensation range is between $51,500 - $68,700 annually.

Requirements

• Conduct historic resource field surveys
• Conduct background research on historic resources
• Evaluate historic resources for eligibility in the National Register of Historic Places
• Assess effects to historic resources
• Prepare technical reports for distribution to state and federal agencies
• Maintain internal and external delivery schedules for all assigned projects
• Provide project status updates at meetings and serve as the point of contact for any historic resource questions on assigned projects
