We are looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer who can also assume a multidisciplinary project management role to join our growing team in Quebec, Montreal, Rimouski, Gatineau or Abitibi-Témiscamingue. This role is focused on the design and execution of projects within our Defense portfolio, aiming to modernize and expand buildings and infrastructure across Canada.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Be a member in good standing of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ) and be eligible for registration in several Canadian provinces
- Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in design, with significant exposure to National Defense projects
- Hold or demonstrate interest in pursuing PMP certification (Project Management Professional) in project management
- Have significant experience in selecting and specifying building mechanical systems and related services
- Demonstrate a good knowledge of building codes and industry standards
- Have experience in consulting engineering, time management, resources, and budgets
- Demonstrate strong business development, marketing, and response to tender skills
- Have flexibility and be open to occasional travel to project sites in Canada
- Be able to obtain a CISD Niveau II (SECRET) security clearance
