Civil Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our Buildings and Places multi-disciplinary design service. The role involves the design and coordination of sustainable drainage systems and hard landscaping in support of our multi-discipline buildings design. The position offers flexibility in location across our UK offices, with hybrid and remote working options aligned to our flexible working practices.

Requirements

• Honors Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or HND or equivalent experience
• Working towards Chartered Civil Engineer (MICE)
• Experience in the design and analysis of drainage, utilities, paved and unpaved surfaces, earthworks, access and accessibility, construction logistics
• Good communication and presentation skills, verbal and written (for report writing purposes)
• Ability to use AutoCAD and Civils 3D. Revit BIM 360 experience is also desirable
• Ability to use Infodrainage or Flow as a drainage hydraulic modelling package with confidence. Ability to carry out Swept Path Analysis within AutoCAD
• Embrace new technologies including digital engineering, automation and parametric design
• Ability to achieve SC clearance (highly desirable)
• Driving Licence (desirable)
