The Civil/Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis, seismic qualification, ageing management, and structural design for steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry systems. The candidate should have a Civil Engineering degree and 8+ years of experience in structural analysis and design for nuclear power plants and/or industrial buildings.
Requirements
- Civil Engineering degree from an accredited university
- 8+ years of structural analysis and design experience in steel and concrete for nuclear power plants and/or industrial buildings
- Professional Engineering license recognized in Canada
- Proven experience in static, dynamic, and seismic analysis of structures and foundations
- Thorough knowledge of Canadian and international civil/structural codes and standards
- Proficiency with structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ANSYS, SAFE, and related tools
