AtkinsRéalis are looking for a Design Manager (DM) to oversee the Client appointed Lead Design Consultants (LDC) on various development projects. The role requires excellent communication and reporting skills, and a structured approach to work. The Design Manager shall produce scope of works services for tender documentation, oversee the Client appointed LDC activities, and coordinate the designs for various stages and elements of each Project to align with the project objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering, or a related field qualification
- 7+ years' experience as Design Manager (Hospitality / Education & Schools / Culture / Arts / Museums / Mixed) at pre-contract stage
- 3-years PgMC/PMC Managerial experience on similar projects
- In-depth knowledge of various Asset types (Mixed-Use), including its regulations, best practices, and emerging trends
- Proficiency in design coordination tools and platforms (e.g., BIM, Revit, AutoCAD)
- Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and unforeseen challenges
