Job Description
AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Western Canadian Engineering group. The role involves delivering electrical system design, calculations, and systems in multi-disciplinary projects from preliminary design throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in Canada
- Minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience designing and leading teams in the design of building electrical systems
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining long term relationships with clients
- Experience leading a team of drafters & technologists, along with client management
- Proven expert knowledge of applicable Electrical Safety codes, Canadian Building codes, & various codes in IEEE, CSA, & NFPA
- Computer knowledge in: MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit management, Lighting, and/or distribution software
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills working with employees, consultants, internal and external individuals and teams
