Expert, hydrologie et hydraulique

We are seeking an Expert in Hydrology and Hydraulics to join our team of multidisciplinary engineers, geologists, and water treatment specialists. The successful candidate will work on various projects related to water management in mining and metallurgical sites, both locally and internationally.

Requirements

• Master's degree in civil engineering with a specialization in hydrology and hydraulics or equivalent
• Minimum 25 years of experience in hydrology and hydraulics
• Proficiency in HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS software
• Experience with FLO-2D software is an asset
• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec
• Excellent proficiency in French and English (spoken and written)
• Ability to work in a team environment with engineers from various disciplines
• Willingness to travel for short periods to international sites or metalworking factories
• Knowledge of another language besides French, such as English, is required
• Strong ability to communicate complex ideas and findings in a clear and concise manner
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
