Job Description
The Procurement and Contract Manager will develop and implement procurement strategies, lead a team of procurement specialists, and manage procurement activities for major projects in Canada. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent, and a minimum of 10 years of experience as a procurement manager in the construction sector or related fields. The ideal candidate will have strong team spirit, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management, or equivalent training in procurement, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a procurement manager in the construction sector and/or the railway industry and/or industrial projects
- Experience in project initiation or proposal development (an asset)
- Experience in a construction environment and knowledge of construction processes (an asset)
