HSE Coordinator - Extension of the blue line

We are seeking a Construction Site Health and Safety Coordinator (CoSS) to monitor the implementation of the HSE program and initiatives on site, ensuring compliance with the HSE management system and applicable health and safety legislation.

Requirements

• Lead safety meetings and worker onboarding sessions as needed;
• Review and inspect work, equipment, and the site to ensure safety requirements are met;
• Review and enforce contractors' safe work methods and task safety analyses;
• Cooperate during inspections by CNESST and other regulatory bodies visiting the site;
• Conduct subcontractor compliance audits;
• Provide leadership in health and safety by fostering engagement, collaboration, and promoting best practices;
• Support and advise all directors, managers, consultants, and other project stakeholders regarding conduct, incident investigations, and root cause analysis;
• Promote awareness of occupational health and safety requirements and values;
• Adhere to all AtkinsRéalis HSE policies and procedures;
• Advise and support project stakeholders in the proper use of HSE program tools and contribute to high standards of health and safety;
• Be an effective and valuable contributor to the site's Health, Safety and Environment team.
