Job Description
HV Substation Design Engineer role involves delivering various projects, preparing technical specifications, and designing HV substations. The role requires experience in substation design and engineering, and the ability to work with clients and teams. The team is part of the Transmission and Distribution Division, working on projects across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and ME.
Requirements
- Graduate/post-graduate degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in Design and engineering of HV substations up to 400kV or above
- Hands-on Experience in design substations, calculations, and FEED engineering
- Ability to complete design deliverables – as per the Client requirement
- Member of IET & working towards Chartered Engineer accreditation
- Strong English Communication Skills needed to co-ordinate with client and other internal stake holders
