Job Description
This position is for an experienced individual who is extremely self-motivated and looking to further develop his/her career in the nuclear field. The candidate shall be able perform engineering work following AtkinsRéalis/Candu Energy QA programs, and applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements as well as coordinate and interface with colleagues and the client to execute assigned engineering work.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree in a relevant field of engineering from an accredited university or equivalent degree as recognized by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
- Experience commensurate with the grade level, with a minimum of 7 to 12 years of pertinent engineering experience.
- Familiarity with instrumentation and control system functions, configurations and equipment as used for CANDU plant process systems, safety systems, or safety-related systems, or for similar systems in other industries would be an asset.
- Familiarity with industrial/nuclear QA programs and procedures along with pertinent CSA, IEEE, or related I&C engineering codes and standards would be an asset.
