We have generated an opportunity to join AtkinsRéalis as an Intermediate Instrumentation and Control Engineer. The role involves coordinating and supervising a team to develop control architecture plans, loop diagrams, and instrumentation and communication cable layouts.
Requirements
- Academic Formation: Professional degree and registered in the professional career of Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Postgraduate in Electrical Engineering (Desirable).
- Software Handling: Intermediate Office, Autocad, Navisworks, Plate orifice calculations, flowmeters, and valves.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years in the Mining and Hydrocarbons sector.
- Experience in construction and/or supervision of mining tailing systems (Desirable).
- Knowledge in control system design, communications, CCTV, Voice and Data, NLG distribution plant fire detection systems.
- Knowledge and skills in Instrumentation and Control disciplines, P&IDs interpretation, control philosophy development, architectures, and concept, feasibility, and detail documentation.
- Technical knowledge and experience in PLC and Scada management within substations and control centers.
- Knowledge and applications of international standards ISA, ASME, ANSI, ISO, NACE, IEC, NEC, API, NFPA.
