Junior/Assistant Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist

We're looking for a Junior/Assistant Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist to support our portfolio of prestigious geotechnical projects across the UK and internationally. You'll be part of a team working on diverse projects in the infrastructure and energy sectors.

Requirements

• Degree in civil engineering or geology/geoscience and a post graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject
• Relevant professional experience and active work towards chartered status
• Good understanding of ground investigation techniques
• Proven site experience including ground investigation supervision, site walkover surveys/geotechnical inspections
• Geotechnical design experience of structures, foundations and earthworks
• Experience in general numerical software such as Geostudio, Repute, Wallap etc.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with clients and engineers from other disciplines
• Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work
• A willingness to travel on short assignments both within the UK and overseas
• A valid UK driving licence
