Job Description
Painter responsible for performing painting, surface preparation and finishing work to ensure protection, aesthetics, durability and compliance of interior and exterior surfaces of hospital facilities.
Requirements
- Diploma in painting in building or equivalent
- Journeyman's card
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in carpentry
- Experience in a hospital environment (asset)
- General Construction Site Safety Training (ASP)
- Knowledge of safety standards, occupational health and building codes
- Ability to make good diagnoses and perform analytical investigations
- Self-motivated, versatile and organized
- Results-driven and focused on health and safety
- Computer skills, particularly with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office (asset)
