Principal Civil Structures Engineer

We're looking for a Principal Civil Structures Engineer to join our team in the Design & Advanced Technology (D&AT) Practice of AtkinsRéalis. The role will involve coordinating or managing a team of Civil Structural engineers, producing and reviewing technical deliverables, and working on complex multi-disciplinary projects. The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, chartered or incorporated status, and proven experience in coordinating or managing a Civil Structural engineering design delivery team.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Chartered or Incorporated Civil/Structural Engineer
• Proven experience in coordinating or managing a Civil Structural engineering design delivery team
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in reinforced concrete and steel structures
• Practical knowledge of current Eurocodes design codes and standards as well as industry best practices
• Ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance
• Proficiency in applicable analytical software and related tools
