As a Project Controls Manager/Senior Project Controls Manager, you will add value to project/programme teams on niche and high-profile schemes across the infrastructure sector for our reputable clients. Your role will involve supervision and management of a Project Controls team, developing and monitoring the Performance Measurement Baseline, and advising project/programme leaders on specialist advice and technical knowledge to resolve or mitigate delays, issues, and other challenges.
Requirements
- Proficiency in EVM processes and their application in complex infrastructure projects
- Strong aptitude to oversee schedule, cost, risk, change control management activities, and reporting
- Proven expertise in a Project Management or Project Controls Management position, specifically within complex infrastructure projects across sectors such as transport, energy, defence, water or oil & gas
- Exceptional skills and experience at managing stakeholders such as clients, senior leaders, and various colleagues in a matrix and line organization
- Resilience, with the ability to maintain rational thought in a high-pressure environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present at programme or portfolio level forums or meetings to senior stakeholders
- Experience of project controls management under NEC Forms of Contract, including contract management and administration within rail and/or UK construction industry
- Knowledge of the principles of Government investment processes and procedures
- Experience of the rail industry and its regulatory framework, or a similarly regulated industry
