Resident Electrical Engineer

Resident Electrical Engineer to supervise, monitor, and control all electrical construction and installation works on TAQA projects in Abu Dhabi, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, TAQA standards, contract requirements, safety regulations, and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer certification or equivalent
• 10-15 years of experience in electrical engineering supervision
• Proven experience on TAQA, ADDC, TRANSCO, DEWA, or major utility power projects
• Strong background in EHV/HV substations, transmission & distribution networks, or power plants
• Strong knowledge of TAQA standards, IEC, IEEE, BS, and NEC codes
• Experience with switchgear, transformers, protection relays, SCADA, and power cabling
• Excellent inspection, reporting, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage contractors and work under tight schedules
• Strong communication and coordination skills
