AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Architect to join our expanding architectural team in Ireland. The role is suited to a confident and technically strong architect who can lead projects through all stages, from early concept and planning to construction and site delivery.
Requirements
- Lead and contribute to architectural projects from concept design through to construction and handover.
- Produce and oversee high-quality technical drawings, specifications and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Irish Planning, Building Regulations, Building Control Legislation and relevant standards.
- Coordinate effectively with structural, MEP, fire, acoustic and other specialist consultants.
- Support and, where appropriate, mentor junior architects and architectural staff.
- Contribute to feasibility studies, planning applications and regulatory submissions.
- Work across multiple projects simultaneously, managing priorities and deadlines efficiently.
- Engage confidently with clients and stakeholders, representing AtkinsRéalis with professionalism and clarity.
- RIAI or RIBA Registered Architect (essential).
- Proven experience on site / in construction delivery is a mandatory requirement.
- Strong background in both design and technical project delivery.
- Demonstrable experience delivering projects in Ireland.
- Excellent working knowledge of: Irish Planning System Building Regulations (Parts A–M) Building Control (BCAR) and Technical Guidance Documents.
- High level of proficiency in Revit / BIM within a digital design environment.
- Strong graphic, design and detailing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.
