Job Description
The Senior Bridge Engineer will lead a structural design team for various multi-disciplinary projects, applying advanced engineering techniques and tools for complex challenges. They will also direct employees, advise management, and prepare structural designs and evaluations.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with a Structural major)
- Registered as Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with APEGA
- 15+ years of experience in engineering practice in analysis and design of various types of bridge and transportation structures
- Experience with the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC) and the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) Code
- Proficient in SAP 2000, CSI Bridge, MIDAS and Microsoft Office applications
